                        IRWA BOARD MEMBERS

President - Greg Bates

Greg represents Jersey County Rural Water and is our At-Large Board member.

He has been a board member since 1997.

Vice President - Scott Wallis

Scott represents the City of Princeton and District 1.

He has been a board member since 2005.

Secretary - Jeff Tumiati

Jeff represents the Village of Stonington and District 5.

He has been a board member since 2004.

Treasurer - Dale Hanner

Dale represents the City of Oakland and District 6.

He has been a board member since 1997.

Director - Tom Shrewsbury

Tom represents the Village of Hebron and District 2.

He has been a board member since 2004.

Director - Wayne Dixon

Wayne represents the City of Mason City and District 3.

He has been a board member since 2006.

Director - Jay Bell

Jay represents the City of Chenoa and District 4.

He has been a board member since 2000.

Director - Steve Fletcher

Steve represents Washington County Water Co. and District 7. He also is the National Director for Illinois.

He has been a board member since 1986.

Director - Perry Musgrave

Perry represents the Village of Elkville and District 8.

He has been a board member since 2008.

Executive Director - Frank Dunmire

Frank became Executive Director of Illinois Rural Water Association in September of 2004. He has 24 years water and wastewater experience.

Membership Services Assistant - Heather McLeod

Heather joined the IRWA staff in October 2000. She is responsible for maintaining membership, the website, conferences, as well as other office procedures. Heather has 15 years office experience.

Admin/Program Assistant - Denise Burke

Denise joined the IRWA staff in April 2003. She is responsible for maintaining training sessions, National Reporting procedures, financial procedures, the TAB, and IRWA Water Ways magazine. Denise has 14 years office experience.

Training Specialist - Wayne Nelson

Wayne joined the IRWA staff in June 1994. He is responsible for IRWA’s EPA training and technical assistance program as well as specialized training to IRWA members. He is also the supervisor of all field staff. Wayne holds a Class “A” water license and Class “II” wastewater certificate and has 35 years of experience in the industry.

Circuit Rider #1 - Gale Moore

Gale joined the IRWA staff in March 2002. He is responsible for providing on-site technical assistance in Districts 1, 2, & 3. He holds a Class “A” water license and a Class “I” wastewater license.

Gale has 28 years of experience in the industry.

Circuit Rider #2 - Pat Gammill

Pat joined the IRWA staff in September 1999. She is responsible for providing on-site technical assistance to rural water systems in Districts S 6, 7, & 8 She holds a Class “A” water license, a Class “IV”wastewater license and a Backflow Preventer Testers license. Pat has 17 years experience in the industry.

Circuit Rider #3 - Chuck Woodworth

Chuck joined the IRWA staff in November 1997. He is responsible for assisting communities with on-site technical assistance Chuck holds a Class “A” water license and has 19 years experience in the industry.

Wastewater Tech #1 - Bill Dowell

Bill joined the IRWA staff in February 2005. He is responsible for technical assistance and training in Districts 4, 5, & N 6. Bill has 24 years experience in the industry.

Wastewater Tech #2 - John Bell

John joined the IRWA staff in April 2003. He is responsible for providing on-site technical assistance. He holds a Class “A” water license and a Class I wastewater license and has 42 years experience in the industry.

Wastewater Tech #3 - Gary Chase

Gary joined the IRWA staff in August 2004. He is responsible for providing on-site technical assistance as well as training in Districts 1, 2, & 3. He holds a Class “I" wastewater license, a Class A water license and has 38 years experience in the industry.

Mark Mitchell - USDA Source Water Protection Technician

Mark joined the IRWA staff in April 1995. He is responsible for assisting communities to develop source water protection areas on a regional basis.
